PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIFTIPE MAKE A MATCH DENGAN STRATEGI TRUE OR FALSE TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SEJARAH SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA NEGERI 5 BANDA ACEH
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The research entitled "The Influence of Cooperative Learning Model Type Make a Match With True or False Strategy To Student Achievement of grade XI IPA SMA N 5 Banda Aceh aims to (1) know the influence of cooperative learning type Make a Match with True Or False Strategy to achievement learning history of class XI students of SMA N 5 Banda Aceh, and (2) Explaining the factors influencing cooperative learning type Make a Match with True or False Strategy. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approach and experimental research type. The population in this study all students of class XI IPA SMA N 5 Banda Aceh as many as 89 students consisting of 3 classes and the sample consists of 48 students. namely class XI IPA 2 as experiment class amounted to 24 students, and class XI IPA 1 as a control class amounted to 24 students. Determination of sample is done by Random Sampling technique that take sample randomly. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by providing tests, documentation and interviews. Based on the result of the research, it is known that (1) the use of cooperative learning model type Make a Match with True or False strategy influence to student achievement in history subjects. From result of data processing using t-test obtained value at level 5% (α = 0,05) obtained tct = 4,63 at significant level (α = 0,05) and opportunity (1-α), t (0, 95) (23) = 2.02 with dk = 24 - 1 = 23. Since 4.63> 2.02 then, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus according to the test criteria, the hypothesis is accepted. Factors that can improve student learning outcomes by using a model of cooperative learning type Make a Match with True or False strategy is the interest of students to the learning process in the classroom. Students can involve themselves directly in solving the subject matter. This affects the interest and motivation of student learning, because the students not only become passive listeners of information submitted by the teacher but involve themselves directly in the classroom learning.
