AUTHOR GUIDELINES

The Elementary Education Research journal accepts original manuscripts in the field of elementary education. Manuscripts submitted to Elementary Education Research journal must be original works that have not been published or are under consideration elsewhere. Articles can be written in either Indonesian or English. Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal's website (https://jim.usk.ac.id/pgsd) .

How to prepare manuscript

  1. The title of the article must be written clearly and concisely, with a maximum of 15 words, accurately reflecting the content of the article. The format used is Times New Roman, font size 12, and single spacing.
  2. Author information must include all contributing authors along with their institutional affiliations and email addresses. The authors' names should be in bold, using Times New Roman, font size 12, and single spacing.
  3. An abstract must be provided in both Indonesian and English, summarizing the research objectives, methods used, main findings, and conclusions in 150–250 words. Additionally, 3–5 relevant keywords should be included to facilitate indexing. The format for the abstract and keywords is Times New Roman, font size 10, with single spacing.
  4. Manuscripts should be between 5500 - 6000 words in length, including references, tables, and figures

Main Sections of the Manuscript

  1. The introduction includes the background, a review of previous literature to highlight scientific novelty, the statement of novelty, the research problem or hypothesis, and concludes with the research objectives.
  2. The literature review is a critical and analytical summary that synthesizes current knowledge on a topic, comparing and linking various theories and findings.
  3. The research methods section describes the methods, population/sample, instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis, with the research flow and figure captions included.
  4. The results and discussion section presents the scientific findings from the research, supported by data, and explains them scientifically, addressing why they occur, trends in variables, and comparing them with similar studies to answer the research hypothesis.
  5. The conclusion summarizes the research findings, addressing the hypothesis or objectives, without repeating the results and discussion.
  6. All references cited in the article must be listed in the References section, with at least 80% from recent primary sources (journals published in the last 10 years) and a minimum of 15 references, formatted according to APA (American Psychological Association) style using reference management tools like  MendeleyEnd NoteZotero.
