PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) MELALUI VIRTUAL LABORATORIUM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI-MIPA 4 SMAN 8 BANDA ACEH PADA MATERI TEORI KINETIK GAS

Abstrak

Pemberian materi Teori Kinetik Gas di beberapa SMA kurang memanfaatkan media animasi, seperti media Laboratorium Virtual sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas guru dan siswa, keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) melalui Laboratorium Virtual dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berupa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas XI-MIPA 4 SMAN 8 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 32 siswa, 13 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu lembar observasi, lembar test, serta lembar angket tanggapan siswa yang ketiganya dianalisis menggunakan uji persentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran, (2) terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dari kategori sedang menjadi sangat baik (3) persentase ketuntasan individual secara keseluruhan meningkat dari siklus 1 sampai siklus 3 yaitu 75%, 84%, dan 94%, dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal secara keseluruhan juga meningkat yaitu 60%, 70%, dan 90%. (4) respon siswa cenderung positif dimana 91% siswa menyatakan senang terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran NHT melalui Laboratorium Virtual ini. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran NHT melalui Laboratorium Virtual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa XI-MIPA 4 SMAN 8 Banda Aceh pada materi Teori Kinetik Gas.

Abstract

Providing material Gas Kinetic Theory at several high schools made little use of animation media, such as media Virtual Laboratory so that student learning outcomes are still low. The research aimed to find out the results of student learning, teacher and student activities, teachers 'skills in managing learning, and students' response to the use of Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) through the Virtual Laboratory in the learning process. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using quantitative methods. The subjects were students of class XI-MIPA 4 SMAN 8 Banda Aceh the school year 2015/2016, amounting to 32 students, 13 male students and 19 female students. Data collection instruments used in the study is the observation sheets, test sheets, as well as student feedback questionnaire sheets were analyzed using analysis of all three percentages. The result showed that (1) an increase in activity of teachers and students during the learning process, (2) an increase in teachers' skills in managing the learning of the category is becoming a very good (3) the percentage of completeness individual as a whole increased from cycle 1 to cycle 3 that 75%, 84% and 94%, and the percentage of classical completeness as a whole also increased with 60%, 70% and 90%. (4) The students' responses tend to be positive where 91% of the students said he was happy to learning by using learning model NHT through this Virtual Laboratory. Based on data obtained from this study can be concluded that the application of the learning model NHT through Virtual Laboratory can improve student learning outcomes XI-MIPA 4 SMAN 8 Banda Aceh on the material Kinetic Theory of Gases.
