Pengaruh Perlakuan Hipoklorit Terhadap Profil Filtrasi Membran Polietersulfon
Abstract
There are many ways already done to produce protein with high quality product. One of them is by using membrane technology. In this research explained the activity of polyethersulfone membrane (PES) and PES membrane which using additive TET 304 and F127 to separated Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) 100 ppm. The focus of this research was on the characteristics of PES membrane including membrane morphology which is analyzed by using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and membrane composition test using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR). The ultrafiltration activity test have done in a laboratory scale single hollow fiber module by using pretreatment and without pretreatment with hypoclorite solvent. SEM result showed the fingerlike structure inside of membrane. The results of permeability test showed water permeability (Wp) values on 0,5 atm PES F127 membrane with BSA feed solvent without post treatment was 184,151 L/m.h.atm. While on PES F127 membrane with post treatment was 251,018 L/m2.h.atm. The rejection resulted on membrane PES TET 304 and PES F127 with BSA feed solvent respectively were 89,509 % and 92,514 %.
