Pengaruh Perubahan Iklim Terhadap Frekuensi dan Durasi Deret Hari Kering di Kabupaten Aceh Besar
Abstract
Abstrak. Pengaruh dari perubahan iklim meningkatnya durasi musim kering menunjukkan adanya perubahan pada karakteristik curah hujan, salah satunya adalah deret hari kering. Hari kering adalah hari dengan curah hujan yang sangat kecil atau tanpa hujan sama sekali. Semakin panjang durasi deret hari kering maka semakin tinggi potensi kekeringan, dampak dari kekeringan bisa menimbulkan masalah pada lahan pertanian terkhusus diwilayah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan iklim terhadap frekuensi dan durasi deret hari kering di kabupaten Aceh Besar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan iklim menyebabkan penurunan deret hari kering yang lebih panjang dari 30 hari berurutan sebesar 1% dan meningkatkan frekuensi hari kering sebesar 1,5% pada durasi 1 hari. Durasi deret hari kering maksimum mencapai 61 hari pada periode sebelum perubahan iklim menjadi semakin pendek pada periode sesudah perubahan iklim hanya mencapai 38 hari. Terjadi peningkatan frekuensi deret hari kering untuk durasi 11-20 hari berturut-turut dan mengalami penurunan jumlah kejadian deret hari kering yang lebih panjang dari 30 hari. Namun tidak ada perubahan pada deret hari kering 1-10 hari. Awal terjadi perubahan iklim di Kabupaten Aceh Besar dimulai pada tahun 2001, perubahan tersebut ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan suhu dan kelembaban udara rata-rata tahunan.
THE INFLUENCE OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON THE FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF DRY DAY RANIES IN ACEH BESAR DISTRICT
Abstract. The effect of climate change is the increase in the duration of the dry season indicating a change in the characteristics of rainfall, one of which is the series of dry days. Dry days are days with very little rainfall or no rain at all. The longer the duration of the dry day series,
the higher the potential for drought. The impact of drought can cause problems for agricultural land, especially in the Aceh Besar district. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of climate change on the frequency and duration of the dry day series in Aceh Besar district. The results showed that climate change caused a decrease in the series of dry days longer than 30 consecutive days by 1% and increased the frequency of dry days by 1.5% for 1 day duration. The duration of the maximum dry day series reaches 61 days in the period before the climate change becomes shorter, in the period after the climate change it only reaches 38 days. There was an increase in the frequency of dry day series for a duration of 11-20 consecutive days and a decrease in the number of dry day series events that were longer than 30 days. However, there was no change in the dry day series of 1-10 days. The beginning of climate change in Aceh Besar District began in 2001, this change was marked by an increase in annual average temperature and humidity.
