Partisipasi Masyarakat Nelayan Terhadap Program Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Di Lampulo, Kecamatan Kuta Alam, Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

Fishermen are one group that plays an important role in economic progress. Poverty of fishermen is a problem that is still faced by the Indonesian people. The decreasing poverty rate is not an indicator of success in overcoming poverty as long as poverty is still experienced by Indonesian people and the existence of poverty reduction programs can improve the economy of the community, especially fishing communities. This research aims to identify the level of community participation in poverty alleviation programs and analyze the factors that influence poverty alleviation programs in Lampulo Village, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City. Data obtained from 182 respondents was then analyzed using the multiple linear logistic regression method. The research results show that there is a level of participation of fishing communities in poverty alleviation programs, factors that influence the participation of fishing communities in poverty alleviation programs and the influence of the level of participation of fishing communities in poverty alleviation programs obtained a significance value (Sig.) from the participation level variable = 0.000 < α ( 0.05), with a positive regression coefficient value (25,088), it can be concluded that the level of fishermen participation has a positive effect on the poverty alleviation program.
