INVENTARISASI JENIS DAN KERAPATAN VEGETASI PADA TEGAKAN HUTAN DAN AGROFORESTRI KOPI DI KPH WILAYAH II, ACEH TENGAH

Abstract

The vegetation in Forest Management Unit (KPH) Region II, Central Aceh consists of pine forests, natural forests, and coffee agroforestry as well as cultivation areas (gardens). This forest area also offers photo spots and Gayo coffee, which is a typical culinary specialty of the area. This research aims to inventory the types and determine the density of vegetation in KPH Region II, Central Aceh. This research used purposive sampling method with random start. Placement of plots with uniform systematic distribution sampling, namely the shape and distance of the plots are the same (uniform). The results of the research show that there are 34 types of vegetation identified in Bur Telege KPH Village, Region II, Central Aceh, consisting of 334 individuals. The density of coffee agroforestry species at the seedling level is 17,500 individuals/ha, the sapling level is 400 individuals/ha, the pole level is 2,600 individuals/ha and the tree level is 675 individuals/ha. The density of pine forest types for the seedling level is 10,000 individuals/ha, the sapling level is 4800 individuals/ha, the pole level is 6,000 individuals/ha and the tree level is 2,150 individuals/ha. The density of natural forest species at the seedling level is 37,500 individuals/ha, the sapling level is 2,800 individuals/ha, the pole level is 1,400 individuals/ha and the tree level is 1,900 individuals/ha. The species density at the seedling and sapling levels did not meet the average density standard for natural forest vegetation, while at the pole and tree levels it met the standard.
