Analisis Efisiensi Pemasaran Ikan Bandeng (Chanos Chanos F) Semasa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Kecamatan Seunudon, Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Abstract


Milkfish is a fish with a high level of tolerance for salinity (euryhaline) so that it can live in brackish waters and on the open seas. Indonesia's milkfish production reached 791,427 tons, the largest after seaweed, tilapia, catfish and shrimp. Regency. North Aceh including Kec. Seunudon which is one of the milkfish production centers in Aceh. Since the announcement of Covid-19 as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in early 2020. As a result, fishermen have stopped fishing activities in several areas because they are worried that their products will not be absorbed by the market. This research was conducted to find out the marketing channels for milkfish before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and price differences at the producer and consumer level and to identify the efficiency level of milkfish marketing during the Covid-19 pandemic in Kec. Seunudon, Kab. North Aceh. The data used is primary data conducted through direct interviews with farmers and marketing agencies using a questionnaire. The data obtained from this interview included marketing channels, milkfish production, production costs and selling prices before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the research results, the milkfish marketing system during the Covid-19 pandemic in Seunudon District had four marketing channels, namely agents, collectors and retailers. Based on the results of the analysis, a relatively efficient marketing channel is channel IV with a marketing margin value of IDR 10,061 per kilogram, a farmer's share value of 66.65 percent, and a profit to cost ratio value of 4.48. The Covid-19 pandemic has not had a significant impact on the milkfish marketing process in Seunudon District.
