Penggunaan Tepung Limbah Ikan Marlin (Makaira indica) Ditambah Beberapa Bahan Pakan Lain Terhadap Berat dan Persentase Karkas Ayam Broiler

Abstract


Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan tepung limbah ikan marlin (TLIM) ditambah beberapa bahan pakan lain seperti jagung kuning (JK), menir (M), dedak padi (DP), dan top mix (TM) sebagai substitusi sebagian ransum komersil (RK) terhadap berat dan persentase karkas ayam broiler. Tepung ikan lokal komersil (TILK) digunakan sebagai pembanding TLIM.  Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 ekor DOC strain MB 202. Ransum perlakuan adalah: R0 = RK 100% (kontrol), R1 = RK 80% + M 5,5% + DP 5% + JK 5% + TILK 4% + TM 0,5%, R2 = RK 80% + M 6,5% + DP 2,5% + JK 2,5% + TILK 8% + TM 0,5%, R3 = RK 80% + M 5,5% + DP 5% + JK 5% + TLIM 4% + TM 0,5%, R2 = RK 80% + M 6,5% + DP 2,5% + JK 2,5% + TLIM 8% + TM 0,5%. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) subsampling dengan 5 perlakuan, 4 ulangan, dan 2 subsampel. Data dianalisis dengan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan apabila hasil menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata maka analisi dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan DMRT. Hasil sidik ragam memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan TLIM + M + DP + JK + TM di dalam ransum berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot karkas ayam broiler umur lima minggu. Secara persentase, tidak ada perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05) pada persentase karkas ayam broiler.

The Use of Marlin (Makaira indica) Fish Waste Meal As a Substitution of a Portion of The Commercial Diet on The Weigh and Percentage of Broiler Carcass

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using marlin fish waste meal (TLIM) plus several other feed ingredients such as yellow corn (JK), groats (M), rice bran (DP), and top mix (TM) as a substitute for some commercial rations on the effect on the weight and percentage of broiler chicken carcass. Local commercial fish meal (TILK) was used to compare to TLIM. This study used 100 DOC strain MB 202. The treatment rations were: R0 = RK 100% (control), R1 = RK 80% + M 5.5% + DP 5% + JK 5% + TILK 4% + TM 0, 5%, R2 = RK 80% + M 6.5% + DP 2.5% + JK 2.5% + TILK 8% + TM 0.5%, R3 = RK 80% + M 5.5% + DP 5% + JK 5% + TLIM 4% + TM 0.5%, R2 = RK 80% + M 6.5% + DP 2.5% + JK 2.5% + TLIM 8% + TM 0.5%. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments, 4 replications, and 2 subsamples. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and if the results showed a significant difference then the analysis was continued by using DMRT. The results of ANOVA showed that the use of TLIM + M + DP + JK + TM in the ration had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the carcass weight of broiler chicken aged five weeks. In terms of percentage, there was no significant difference (P>0.05) in broiler carcass percentage.
