Perbandingan Hasil Perhitungan Antara Rumus Winter dan Rumus Lambourne dengan Bobot Badan Hasil Penimbangan Bobot Pedet Sapi Aceh di BPTU-HPT Indrapuri

Abstract

Abstrak . Penelitian ini mengenai “Perbandingan Hasil Perhitungan Antara Rumus Winter Dan Rumus Lambourne Dengan Bobot Badan Hasil Penimbangan  Bobot Pedet Sapi Aceh di BPTU-HPT Indrapuri” telah dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2022 di Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Hijauan Pakan Ternak Indrapuri, Desa Reukih Dayah Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui rumus pendugaan bobot badan yang lebih akurat untuk Pedet sapi Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan pedet sapi Aceh yang berjumlah 30 ekor. Sampel di ambil dengan teknik studi dokumenter, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan satatistika dekskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata penyimpangan bobot badan pada rumus Winter  0,28 kg dengan koefesien variasi 11,99% , sedangkan penyimpangan bobot badan menggunakan rumus Lambourne sebesar 0,03 kg dengan koefesien variasi 12,17 % . Penyimpangan menggunakan rumus Winter 2.95%  dan rumus Lambourne 2,56%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan rumus Lambourne lebih mendekati bobot badan aktual pedet sapi Aceh dibandingkan rumus Winter, sehingga lebih cocok digunakan untuk menduga bobot badan sapi Aceh.

Comparison of Calculation Result Beetwen Winter Formula And Lambourne Formula With Body Weight Result of Aceh Calf Wight at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri

Abstract. This research regarding "Comparison of Calculation Results Between the Winter Formula and the Lambourne Formula with the Body Weight of the Aceh Calves Weighing at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri" was carried out in September 2022 at the Indrapuri Superior Cattle Breeding Center, Reukih Dayah Village, Indrapuri District. Aceh Besar.The aim of this study was to determine a more accurate body weight estimation formula for Aceh cattle calves. The study used 30 Aceh cattle calves. Samples were taken using documentary study techniques, then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.The results showed that the average deviation of body weight in the Winter formula was 0.28 kg with a coefficient of variation of 11.99%, while the deviation of body weight using the Lambourne formula was 0.03 kg with a coefficient of variation of 12.17%. The deviation uses the Winter formula 2.95% and Lambourne formula 2.56%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Lambourne formula is closer to the actual body weight of the Acehnese calves than the Winter formula, so it is more suitable for estimating the body weight of Aceh cattle.
