Pemetaan Kebun Kopi Rakyat dan Potensi Pengembangannya di Kabupaten Nagan Raya

Abstract


Abstrak. Kopi merupakan komoditas ekspor terpenting kedua dalam perdagangan global. Saat ini lebih dari 90% dari areal pertanaman kopi Indonesia terdiri atas kopi robusta. Di Provinsi Aceh petani telah lama mengembangkan kopi robusta namum belum dikelola secara baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memetakan kebun kopi rakyat eksisting dan potensi pengembangannya di Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan analisis deskriptif. Luas kebun kopi rakyat eksisting dipetakan berdasarkan teknik klasifikasi visual on screen. Untuk memastikan klasifikasi kebun kopi rakyat eksisting di lapangan di awali dengan pengambilan titik koordinat di lapangan dan menggunakan kunci interpretasi citra. Hasil analisis menghasilkan 37 hamparan dan luasan kebun kopi rakyat eksisting di Kabupaten Nagan Raya seluas 245,60 ha. Hamparan kebun kopi rakyat terluas berada di Kecamatan Beutong Ateuh Banggalang seluas 152,53 ha (62,12%), sedangkan hamparan kebun kopi rakyat terkecil terdapat di Kecamatan Kuala Pesisir dengan luas 0,04 ha (0,02%).

Mapping the People's Plantation and its Development Potential in Nagan Raya Districts

Abstract. Coffee is the second-most exported commodity based on global trade. Nowadays, more than 90% of the coffee farming area in Indonesia is Robusta. Farmers in Aceh have long developed Robusta, but it was not yet manageable in a proper manner. The primary purpose of this research was to map the area of coffee farming and its potential in the Nagan Raya regency. This research was conducted using the analysis descriptive survey method with a classification technique of visuals on screen and based on the taking of coordinates in the field and the key of (image) interpretation. The result showed that 37 coffee area was detected. There are 245,60 hectares of coffee farming in Nagan Raya. The largest area was found in Beutong Ateuh Benggalang, within 152,53 hectares or 62% of the overall area. In contrast, the smallest area was found in Kuala Pesisir, within 0,04 hectares or 0,02% of the overall area.
