Pendugaan Jumlah Minyak Terpentin yang Dicampurkan Dalam Minyak Nilam Dengan Teknologi Inframerah

Abstract


Abstrak. Pemalsuan minyak nilam banyak dilakukan dalam dunia perdagangan. Pemalsuan dilakukan dengan cara mencampur produk bernilai rendah dengan produk bernilai tinggi. Salah satunya adalah pemalsuan minyak nilam yang dicampur dengan minyak terpentin. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah menguji kemampuan teknologi near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) dengan metode principal component regression (PCR) dalam memprediksi jumlah minyak terpentin yang dicampurkan dalam minyak nilam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) dengan metode principal component regression (PCR) mampu memprediksi jumlah minyak terpentin yang dicampurkan dalam minyak nilam. Model yang dihasilkan tergolong dalam quantitative prediction dengan latent variabel 9, nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,90, nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,82, nilai root mean square error calibration (RMSEC) sebesar 12,52 dan nilai residual predictive deviation (RPD) sebesar 2,42.

 

 

Estimation the Amount of Turpentine Oil Mixed in Patchouli Oil with Infrared Technology


Abstract. Patchouli oil counterfeiting is widely practiced in the world of trade. Counterfeiting is done by mixing low-value products with high-value products. One of them is the counterfeiting of patchouli oil mixed with turpentine oil. The purpose of this article is to test the ability of near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) technology with the principal component regression (PCR) method in predicting the amount of turpentine oil mixed in patchouli oil. The results showed that the application of near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) with the principal component regression (PCR) method was able to predict the amount of turpentine oil mixed in patchouli oil. The resulting model is classified as a quantitative prediction with a latent variable of 9, the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.90, the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.82, the value of the root mean square error calibration (RMSEC) of 12.52 and the residual value of deviation predictive value (RPD) of 2.42.
