KEBUTUHAN KELUARGA PASIEN DI UNIT PERAWATAN INTENSIF
Abstract
Ruang perawatan intensif merupakan ruangan yang penuh stres bagi pasien yang dirawat dan bagi keluarga. Keluarga mengalami berbagai stres, gejolak emosi, masalah keuangan, perubahan peran, gangguan rutinitas, ketergantungan pada orang lain, dan merasa asing dengan lingkungan rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan keluarga pasien di Unit Perawatan Intensif Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh meliputi kebutuhan informasi, dukungan mental, rasa nyaman, kedekatan dengan pasien dan jaminan pelayanan. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan deskriptif eksploratif dan desain cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 21 Mei–5 Juni 2018. Populasi pada penelitian adalah keluarga pasien di unit perawatan intensif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convinience sebanyak 104 responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner Critical Care Family Need Inventory (CCFNI). Hasil analisa data menunjukkan kebutuhan keluarga terhadap jaminan pelayanan merupakan kebutuhan yang paling penting untuk dipenuhi (3.72±0.07) sedangkan kebutuhan dukungan mental merupakan kebutuhan yang kurang penting bagi keluarga (2.78±0.30). Disarankan bagi penyedia layanan kesehatan di unit perawatan intensif khususnya perawat harus menyadari tentang prioritas kebutuhan keluarga agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mereka dan untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan pendekatan perawatan yang tidak hanya berpusat pada pasien tetapi juga pada keluarga pasien.
