KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT PASIEN HIPERTENSI

Abstract


Hipertensi sebagai penyakit silent killer menjadi penyebab kematian global yang  menduduki peringkat ketiga dunia. Pasien hipertensi harus mengkonsumsi obat secara kontinyu untuk mempertahankan tekanan darah agar tetap stabil serta mencegah komplikasi dan perburukan prognosis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien hipertensi di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh 2021. Jenis dan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini adalah  descriptive cross-sectional survey. Populasi penelitian yaitu pasien hipertensi di Poliklinik Jantung Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 133 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Morisky Medication Adherence Scale -8 (MMAS-8). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Gambaran Kepatuhan Minum Obat  pada Pasien Hipertensi di Poliklinik Jantung Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh berada di kategori rendah dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 55 responden (41.4%) kemudian diikuti oleh kepatuhan tinggi sebanyak 40 responden (30,1%) dan kepatuhan sedang sebanyak 38 responden (28,9%). Direkomendasikan bagi perawat poliklinik Jantung RSUDZA Banda Aceh agar dapat memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang pentingnya minum obat bagi pasien hipertensi agar dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat.
