GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PERAWAT DALAM PENANGANAN PASIEN COVID-19

Abstract


 

Tingginya angka morbiditas dan mortalitas  kasus COVID-19 menjadikan penanganan kasus ini sebagai prioritas utama bagi petugas pelayanan kesehatan. Perawat sebagai garda terdepan dalam penanganan COVID-19 diharuskan memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang memadai dalam merawat pasien COVID-19. Pengetahuan dan sikap yang memadai ini dapat melindungi dirinya dan memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas kepada pasien COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dalam merawat pasien COVID-19 di rumah sakit Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat di Instalasi PINERE RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling dengan jumlah 64 responden. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner pengetahuan dalam bentuk skala Dichotomous dan kuesioner sikap dalam skala Likert masing-masing terdiri dari 20 pernyataan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perawat memiliki pengetahuan yang baik (82,2%) dan sikap positif (65,6%) dalam merawat pasien COVID-19. Kepada pihak rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan pelatihan tentang menajemen COVID-19 kepada seluruh perawat agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dalam merawat pasien COVID-19.
