Perbandingan Warung Kopi Tradisional Versus Modern (Sebuah Analisis Terhadap Konsep Responsif Gender)

ABSTRAK
Perbedaan pada pelayanan seperti fasilitas dan kebijakan diasumsikan berbeda antara laki-laki dan perempuan di masing-masing warung kopi yang berbeda konsep antara tradisional dan modren, sehingga timbul diskriminiasi dan ketidaknyamanan terhadap pengunjung perempuan. Penelitian ini akan berusaha membandingkan warung kopi tradisional dan modern dari segi responsif gender atau non responsif gender. Jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan warung kopi terjadi perubahan sosial menjadi ruang publik ketiga bagi masyarakat Aceh khususnya di Banda Aceh pasca tsunami dan konflik. Masyarakat mulai menjadikan warung kopi sebagai ruang alternatif tempat bekerja, interaksi, dan hiburan. Seiring perkembangan zaman, warung kopi membentuk dua konsep yakni tradisional dan modren. Pada warung kopi tradisional masih menimbulkan permasalahan dan non responsif gender pada fasilitas dan pelayananannya, sedangkan warung kopi modren telah menunjukkan langkah responsif gender yang ditandai dengan fasilitas yang memadai dan pelayanan yang baik bagi laki-laki dan juga perempuan. Kesimpulan yakni warkop tradisional belum responsif gender, sedangkan warkop modern telah responsif gender. Dari segi fasilitas, warkop modern lebih merespon gender daripada warkop tradisional. Warkop modern memiliki fasilitas yang memadai tentang menu, toilet, ruang ibadah, tempat duduk, dan ruangan khusus merokok. Pengetahuan responsif gender berbeda antara pemilik warkop tradisional dan modern. Pemilik warkop tradisional tidak mengetahui konsep tentang responsif gender, sedangkan pemilik warkop modern memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang responsif gender. Pengetahuan responsif gender konsumen cukup, namun tidak sampai kepada tindakan.

ABSTRACT
Differences in service such as facilities and policies assumed to differ between males and females in each different coffee shop concept between traditional and modren, resulting in discriminiation and discomfort to Female visitors. This research will try to compare traditional and modern coffee stalls in terms of gender responsive or non gender responsive. Types of qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The results showed that the coffee shop occurred social change into the third public space for Acehnese people, especially in Banda ACEH post tsunami and conflict. People start making coffee stalls as an alternative space for work, interaction and entertainment. As the time progresses, the coffee shop forms two concepts namely traditional and modren. In traditional coffee stalls are still causing problems and non-responsive gender on facilities and services, while the Modren coffee shop has shown gender responsive steps characterized by adequate facilities and Good for men and women too. Conclusion, the traditional Warkop has not been gender responsive, while the modern Warkop has been gender responsive. In terms of facilities, the modern Warkop responds to gender rather than traditional warkop. The modern Warkop has adequate facilities about the menu, toilets, prayer rooms, seating, and a designated smoking room. Gender responsive knowledge differs between traditional and modern Warkop owners. Traditional Warkop owners do not know the concept of gender-responsive, while modern Warkop owners have a good knowledge of gender-responsive. Consumer gender responsive knowledge is sufficient, but not to action.
