Pengaruh Job Insecurity terhadap Intention to Quit yang dimediasi oleh Psychological Distress dan Resistence to Change

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of Job Insecurity on Intention to Quit, which is mediated by Psychological Distress and Resistance to Change among employees of BSI Bank in Banda Aceh. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire provided to the research respondents. The population of this study comprised all employees of BSI Bank in Banda Aceh, with a sample size of 251 individuals. The sampling technique used in this study was Probability Sampling with simple random sampling as the sampling method. The data analysis method employed was Hierarchical Linear Regression using the Statistical Program and Social Science (SPSS) to examine the relationships between the involved variables. The results of the research indicated that Job Insecurity significantly influenced Intention to Quit. Additionally, Job Insecurity had a significant impact on Psychological Distress and Resistance to Change. Furthermore, Psychological Distress significantly affected Resistance to Change and Intention to Quit. Similarly, Resistance to Change significantly influenced Intention to Quit. Psychological Distress mediated the relationship between Job Insecurity and Intention to Quit, while Resistance to Change mediated the relationship between Job Insecurity and Intention to Quit.
